Mathieu Vallot

Mathieu Vallot is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and structured finance within the energy and commodities sectors. Currently serving as Principal - Investment at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. since November 2011, Mathieu focuses on infrastructure, oil and gas, and mining and metals in the EMEA region. Prior roles include Head Structured Finance at BNP Paribas (2000 - November 2011) where responsibilities encompassed oil and gas project finance and structured debt across the MENA region. Earlier experience includes positions at Elf Trading SA and Credit Lyonnais, with a foundation in structured finance starting from 1993. Mathieu Vallot holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, earned between 1990 and 1994.
