Michelle Tay Mi Xue

Michelle Tay Mi Xue has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michelle began their career as a Research Assistant at KK Women's & Children's Hospital in 2003. Michelle then worked as an Internal Audit Intern at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore in 2006. In 2007, they served as an Accountant at Octopus Holdings before joining Mizuho Corporate Bank as an Associate and later as an FX Options and NDF Trader. From 2012 to 2016, Michelle worked at First Resources Limited as an Assistant Manager in Treasury. Michelle then moved to Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., where they held several roles including Treasury Manager, Asia Treasurer, and currently, Head of Treasury and Trade Finance - Asia. Michelle has gained valuable experience and expertise in treasury, trade finance, and financial trading throughout their career.

Michelle Tay Mi Xue has a strong educational background in the field of accountancy and financial engineering. Michelle completed their Bachelor's degree in Accountancy with a minor in Computing from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In 2006, they also pursued accounting studies at both Singapore Management University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Michelle furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they completed in 2012.
