Uday Ramagoni

Global Head Of Application Support at Mercuria

Uday Ramagoni has over 20 years of experience in the field of application support and management. Uday began their career in 2000 as a Programmer at Zeus Infotech, where they developed client/server and web applications. In 2003, they joined JVG Consulting as a Software Engineer.

In 2005, Ramagoni became a J2EE Consultant at EMC, where they were responsible for improving the Automated Build and Test system. Uday redesigned the entire application to support the complete build of EMC software.

From 2006 to 2007, Ramagoni worked at Electrabel as an Assistant Application Manager, where they managed, upgraded, and supported the Trading application. Uday also worked on maintaining and improving existing applications built around Global Vision.

Ramagoni then joined Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. in 2007, initially as a Systems Analyst. Uday implemented and supported trading and ETRM systems for gas and power trading desks. In 2011, they became an Application Manager, responsible for implementing and supporting the Trading, ETRM, and Credit systems. Most recently, Ramagoni served as the Global Head of Application Support, overseeing the daily operations of all business applications at Mercuria.

Throughout their career, Ramagoni has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills, successfully implementing and managing various systems to support trading desks and improve business operations.

Uday Ramagoni obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Gulbarga University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In 2002, they pursued a Master's in Artificial Intelligence at KU Leuven and completed it in 2003. Their field of study during their Master's program was computer science.
