Khalid Basit has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Khalid started their career as a Technical Project Consultant at Zaavia in 2014 and worked there until 2018. In 2012, Khalid joined the Institute of Business Administration as a Visiting Faculty and later became a Member of the Board of Studies in the Department of Computer Science. In 2019, they moved to a new role as a Commercial Director at Mercurial Minds. Currently, Khalid serves as the Director of Strategy at Mercurial Minds, where they focus on delivering new value through digital technology adoption and supporting automation in the Telco sector. Overall, Khalid has extensive experience in strategy development, project management, and academic teaching.
Khalid Basit pursued their education between 1986 and 1990 at Imperial College London. During this time, they successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of Numerical Analysis of Magnetic Fields.
