Patrick Martin

Patrick Martin has worked in the data science and analytics field for over 10 years. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as an Application Systems Analyst/Programmer at Kansas City Life Insurance, where they built and maintained a life insurance quoting software for field agents. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Veriship as a Data Scientist and Junior Data Scientist, where they built a product and supporting analytical tools to help sell the product more efficiently and also automated modeling results to eliminate manual intervention. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at Sifted as a Data Scientist - Team Lead, where they lead a Data Science Team that produced a myriad of different tools to eliminate waste and boost sales. Patrick also coached and worked with Machine Learning engineer and Junior Data Scientist daily, communicated regularly with stakeholders, and performed R&D for new products. Currently, they are an Analytics and Data Science Engineer at Mercury Broadband.

Patrick Martin obtained their MBA from Rockhurst University in 2015 with a concentration in Data Science. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with an Actuarial emphasis from Pittsburg State University in 2009. Additionally, they hold a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
