Matt Heiman

Matt Heiman currently serves as the Head of Corporate Development at Mercury, where responsibilities include leading M&A, investor relations, fundraising, and special projects, notably acquiring Teal and raising a $300M Series C led by Sequoia Capital. Prior roles encompass various positions within top venture capital firms, including partner at CRV and managing director at Vetamer Capital Management, with investments in companies such as Niantic, Coinbase, and Airwallex. Matt has also held consultant positions at McKinsey & Company and co-founded Mommy Nearest by KidPass. Educational credentials include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Columbia University.
