Jeremy Baksht is a Venture Advisor at Mercury Fund. Jeremy has also founded DataFrame Ventures, a seed stage VC focused on data-oriented investments. Some of the companies they have invested in include Keys, Groopit, Bazze, Nomad Data, Plannuh, Revelio Labs, Clearforce, UrsaLeo, Intrro, Paragon Intel, Balloon, Cactivate, Grin Gaming, Embodied, Lagoon Data, Answerable, and EarthSense.

Prior to DataFrame Ventures, Baksht was the Global Head of Alternative Data at Bloomberg LP. In this role, they launched the alternative data platform for Bloomberg and reviewed hundreds of companies for fit with financial services clients.

Before Bloomberg LP, Baksht was the Chief Revenue Officer at Estimize (acquired by ExtractAlpha). At Estimize, they ran all commercial aspects of an innovative crowdsourced estimates platform that proved to be more accurate than traditional research. The company raised $11M in total funding led by Euromoney & WorldQuant before being acquired.

Baksht has also served as the Chief Product Officer at ACE Portal (acquired) and as the Founder of Antifragile Advisors. Prior to these roles, they were VP of Global Industrials at Citi.

Jeremy Baksht has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Virginia at Charlottesville, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
