John Munoz

John Munoz has over 20 years of work experience in the field of information technology and engineering. John currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Mercury Radio Arts, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation, where they managed hardware and software installation, oversaw backup and recovery processes, and implemented scalable DevOps practices. John also served as a Media Support Engineer at TheBlaze, where they were responsible for moving radio broadcast operations from NYC to Dallas. Earlier in their career, they worked as a System Administrator II at Texas A&M AgriLife, where they implemented a modern IT infrastructure. John also served as the Media Dept Director at Abundant Grace Community Church, where they managed the technical operations of the church. Additionally, they worked as an IT Manager at Clear Channel Radio, where they installed new radio stations and implemented automation tasks. John started their career as a Network Administrator at both TWIN Internet and Lone Star National Bank, where they worked on network maintenance and security compliance.

John Munoz attended San Isidro HS from 1994 to 1997. John then went on to study at The University of Texas-Pan American from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in CIS. John also has an additional certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, which they obtained from Amazon Web Services in November 2022.
