Alexia Matich

Alexia Matich has extensive experience in digital applications and architecture management, currently serving as Applications & Architecture Manager at Mercury NZ since January 2020, following roles as Retail Experience & Engagement Platform Manager and Digital and Integration Platform Manager. Prior to joining Mercury NZ, Alexia held various positions at Auckland Council from 2010 to January 2020, including Web, Mobile & eCommerce Manager, where responsibilities included service ownership of digital enterprise applications and leading the development of customer-facing online solutions. Other roles encompassed Web & Mobile Team Leader and Team Leader Web Support, contributing to successful projects such as the migration of internal websites and the management of digital platforms. Alexia's career includes earlier roles at Waitakere City Council, where significant achievements involved increasing web sales and leading online initiatives, and other positions that emphasize a strong foundation in systems administration and training. Alexia holds a Bachelor of Business Studies with a major in Information Systems from Massey University.
