Hamish McKinlay

Hamish McKinlay has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Hamish started their career at Westpac New Zealand Limited in 2004, holding various roles in product management, marketing, and analytics. Hamish then joined Vodafone New Zealand in 2007, where they served in multiple positions, including senior product manager and head of consumer products. In 2014, Hamish briefly returned to Westpac before joining Ballance Agri-Nutrients Ltd as an AgInformation Manager. Hamish later worked at Equifax, Vodafone, NZ Post, StockX New Zealand, Trustpower, and finally, Mercury NZ, where they currently hold the position of Head of Propositions since April 2022. Hamish has extensive experience in product strategy, market management, and customer experience.

Hamish McKinlay attended Wellington College from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they pursued higher education at Victoria University of Wellington from 1996 to 1998. During their time at the university, Hamish completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree, with a major in Finance and Management.
