Hugo Pena

Hugo Pena is a skilled engineer with significant experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Well Services Engineer at Mercury NZ since July 2023. Previously, Hugo held the role of Geothermal Well Services Engineer at JRG Energy from July 2022 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes working as a Database Service Assistant at Streamline Litigation Services and as a Computer Numerical Control Machinist at HADCO GROUP INC., where hands-on skills in CNC machinery were developed. Hugo also contributed as a Teaching Assistant for a senior-level Spanish course at Texas Tech University in the summer of 2014 and worked as a Hospitality Assistant at Texas Tech University Hospitality & Retail Management in 2013. Hugo Pena holds a Master of Energy in Geothermal Engineering from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
