Luis Aguirre

Luis Aguirre is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive expertise in project engineering and management. Currently serving as a Project Engineer for EC&I Systems at Mercury NZ since December 2022, Luis previously held prominent roles at LaGeo S.A. de C.V. as both Engineering Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer, focusing on distribution systems and high voltage substations. Additionally, Luis contributed to academia as a professor at Universidad Don Bosco, teaching electrical engineering fundamentals for a Master's program in renewable energy management. Luis holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands and has completed specialized training programs in geothermal utilization and protection power systems. Luis obtained an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on control systems from Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas.'
