Sarah Cowan has a diverse and extensive work experience in brand and marketing roles. Sarah started their career as an Account Executive at Brando, where they gained skills in various aspects of the advertising industry. Sarah then moved on to Cubo as an Account Manager, handling press campaigns and print production. After that, they joined JWT as a Senior Account Manager, where they managed major clients, supervised account managers, and collaborated with international offices. Sarah later worked at TBWA\Australia as a Senior Account Manager, responsible for integrated campaigns and client business objectives. Sarah then joined FCB New Zealand as an Account Director on a contract basis. Sarah took on roles at Air New Zealand, serving as a Brand Communications Manager, Masterbrand Manager, and Brand Identity Manager. Currently, Sarah is working at Mercury NZ as the Head of Brand & Marketing, overseeing brand strategy and engagement. Their experience spans across multiple industries and has given their a strong understanding of developing regionally relevant marketing materials.

Sarah Cowan attended Auckland University of Technology from 2003 to 2005, where they completed a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Marketing and Advertising. Additionally, they participated in a Marketing Week Mini MBA program led by Mark Ritson, although specific dates for this program were not provided.
