Zim Aunzo

Zim Aunzo is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in geothermal and hydrogeological engineering. Currently serving as Principal Reservoir Engineer at Mercury NZ since July 2023, Zim Aunzo also holds the position of Geothermal Reservoir Engineer at ZpA Consulting, contributing to significant projects such as the Ngawha Expansion Project and assessments of geothermal fields in Leyte and Mt. Apo since June 2018. Previous roles include Reservoir Operations Manager at Contact Energy Ltd, where Zim Aunzo managed a multidisciplinary team, and Senior Reservoir Engineer positions at Sinclair Knight Merz and UNOCAL/CHEVRON. Zim Aunzo has an academic background with a Master’s degree in Engineering (Geothermal, Hydrogeology) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Cebu Institute of Technology.
