David Bogus

David Bogus has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. David has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in software development, engineering, and operations research.

Starting in 2003, David worked as an Operations Research contractor at Bogus Technology, where they analyzed existing municipal water and sewage rates and forecasted revenue under multiple scenarios.

In 2004, they joined RoleModel Software Inc. as a Software Developer, contributing to projects like Project Jericho, an online study group management application. David utilized multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Java, JUnit, TOPLink, Hibernate, Tapestry, HTML, CSS, Ruby, WaTiR, and SQL.

David's career also includes roles at Source Extreme, Eyemaginations, Consensus Point, and Java On Sails, where they worked as a Software Developer and Senior Developer, focusing on tasks such as porting 3D games, creating web front-ends, and developing open-source frameworks.

Notably, at PJM Interconnection, they served as a Senior Developer from 2009 to 2021. Here, David played a crucial role in developing a mission-critical real-time decision support dashboard for managing the largest wholesale electricity market in the US Energy Industry. David utilized WPF, publish and subscribe messaging middleware, and solution architecture principles to deliver this project.

Most recently, David joined MercuryGate International in 2021 as a Principal Engineer.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated skills in solution architecture, automation, technical support, and web application development. David has experience working in both large and small organizations and has contributed to various industries like energy, gaming, and pharmaceuticals.

David Bogus attended Towle Institute from 1995 to 1997 and obtained a high school diploma. David then pursued their education at Cecil Community College from 1998 to 2001, earning an AS degree in transfer. Finally, from 1998 to 2003, David attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a BA degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
