Adonis Deniz Jr. MSW, MBA is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of social work and business administration. Currently serving as the SMI Services Administrator and Special Projects Manager at Mercy Care since March 2014, responsibilities include grants management and budget monitoring to ensure compliance with grant requirements and oversight of sub-contracted providers. Prior to this role, Adonis Deniz Jr. worked at TERROS from February 2006 to March 2014 as the Prevention Manager, overseeing the Community Prevention Department's operations, and as the DFC Coordinator, focusing on building community coalitions. Adonis Deniz Jr. holds an MBA in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, a degree in Social Work from Arizona State University, and a degree in Retailing and Consumer Sciences from the University of Arizona.
Mercy Care
Mercy Care is a not-for-profit health plan serving AHCCCS members throughout Arizona. Owned by Dignity Health and Ascension Health, Mercy Care has served Medicaid members since 1985. Mercy Care provides access to health care services for families, children, seniors, and people with physical and developmental/cognitive disabilities. Mercy Care also operates as the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) in Maricopa County, which was the first RBHA in Arizona to offer integrated physical and behavioral health services to persons determined to have a serious mental illness.
