Laurie Munn has over 20 years of work experience in marketing and communications. Laurie began their career in 1999 as the Principal of their own company, Munn Communications, where they worked until 2006. Laurie then joined Aetna Medicaid in 2007 as a Marketing Manager, eventually becoming the Director of RFP and Proposal Management until 2015. In 2015, Laurie joined Mercy Care as the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Laurie Munn's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northern Arizona University. Following that, Laurie pursued professional certifications in different fields. In 2021, they obtained a professional certification in Spanish for Nurses from Capella University. In 2023, Laurie completed a professional certification program in Personal Medicine Coach from Pat Deegan & Associates.
Mercy Care
Mercy Care is a not-for-profit health plan serving AHCCCS members throughout Arizona. Owned by Dignity Health and Ascension Health, Mercy Care has served Medicaid members since 1985. Mercy Care provides access to health care services for families, children, seniors, and people with physical and developmental/cognitive disabilities. Mercy Care also operates as the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) in Maricopa County, which was the first RBHA in Arizona to offer integrated physical and behavioral health services to persons determined to have a serious mental illness.
