Daniela Weigand

Daniela Weigand, MBA, has diverse work experience in budgeting, operations, construction management, purchasing coordination, and product management. Daniela most recently served as the Director of Budgets and Operations for the School of Health and Natural Sciences at Mercy University. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Budget and Construction Manager at Mercy University and a Construction Manager at Nine West Group. Daniela also held the role of Purchasing Coordinator at Nine West Group, where they were responsible for purchasing fixtures and visuals for the Outlet division and negotiating pricing for new stores and remodels. Earlier in their career, Daniela worked as an Associate Product Manager at Amscan and a Store Improvements Senior Coordinator at The Jones Group. Daniela has also gained customer service experience as a Customer Service Representative at The Wine Enthusiast. Throughout their various roles, Daniela has demonstrated strong negotiation, budgeting, and management skills.

Daniela Weigand completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, General from Manhattan College in the years 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services from Mercy University, which they completed from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Avoiding Phishing Scams" and "From Excel to Tableau" from LinkedIn, as well as "Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate (Office 2019)" from Microsoft. Daniela also completed a certification in "Preventing Workplace Harassment" from Emtrain.
