Richard Dillon

Richard Dillon is an experienced educator with a long-standing career in social studies and educational leadership. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Education Leadership and Clinical Field Supervisor at Mercy University since January 2022, Richard previously held key roles in the White Plains City School District, including Coordinator of Social Studies K-12 and Social Studies Teacher from September 1999 to July 2023. Earlier in the career, Richard worked as a Social Studies Teacher and Department Chairperson at Frederick Douglass Academy and as a Social Studies Teacher with the NYC Department of Education. Richard's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from Syracuse University, a Master of Arts in History from The City College of New York, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership and Administration from SUNY New Paltz.
