Sodary Castillo Guerrero

Sodary Castillo Guerrero currently serves as a Campus Life Specialist at Mercy University, where responsibilities include managing programs that enhance student learning, community building, and retention, as well as collaborating with the Campus Life team and advising student organizations. Prior experience includes roles at CVS Health as a Retail Sales Associate, providing customer assistance and processing transactions; at Boys and Girls Clubs of Harlem as a Youth Worker, offering academic support and conflict resolution; and various positions at Burlington Stores, Inc. and Sodexo, focusing on customer service and maintaining workplace hygiene. Sodary also gained leadership experience as a NYPIRG Project Leader Intern, coordinating food drives, and served as a Peer Mentor at SUNY New Paltz. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at Baruch College, Sodary has a background in Sociology, Spanish, and Political Science from SUNY New Paltz.
