Lina Hussein

Lina Hussein has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Communications Director for Mercy Corps. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Corporate Communications at Ominvest from 2020 to 2022. Lina also worked as the Head of Communications & Social Impact at The Zubair Corporation from 2013 to 2020. Before that, they were a Sustainability & CSR Advisor and Communications Specialist at Schema Sustainability Advisory from 2012 to 2013. Lina began their career as a Communications Manager at ESKADENIA Software from 2006 to 2010 and also held the position of Senior Communications Officer from 2002 to 2006. Lina started their professional journey as a Documentation Manager at Omnix International from 1998 to 2002.

Lina Hussein holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing & Strategy from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, UK, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at The University of Jordan from 1993 to 1997. In 2014, Lina also obtained a certification as a Certified Shared Value Consultant from the Shared Value Initiative.
