Sumayyah Kadir

Sumayyah Kadir is a seasoned programme officer with extensive experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. Currently serving as Programme Officer for Asia at Mercy Corps since February 2024, Sumayyah previously held the position of Programme Funding Officer at Humanity & Inclusion UK from September 2022 to February 2024. Prior to that, Sumayyah worked at Oxfam from January 2018 to October 2022 in various roles including Business Development Coordinator, Partnership Support Officer, and Grant Officer for Iraq. Sumayyah began a career in the humanitarian field at Save the Children International, where roles included Assistant Project Officer and Intern in the Humanitarian Sector from October 2015 to January 2018. Educational qualifications include an MA in Development and Rights, Social Anthropology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Geography from Keele University.
