Wahyu Nugroho

Wahyu Nugroho is a seasoned professional in economic development, currently serving as the Market Systems Development Specialist/Advisor/Lead at Mercy Corps since November 2010, where there is a focus on inclusive and green economic development in Myanmar and private sector engagement in Uganda. Wahyu has successfully led various programs, including the Nurturing Green Aquaculture in Myanmar and the Linking Laputta to Markets project, while also overseeing a portfolio of around US$15 million as Director of Programs. Previous experience includes senior consulting roles at Swisscontact and research assistance at SEARCA, contributing significantly to market systems development and agricultural strategies. Wahyu holds a Master’s degree in Agribusiness from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Industrial Technology from IPB University.
