Katherine Jernigan

Katherine Jernigan is a Farmer Outreach Manager for Transfarmation at Mercy For Animals. Prior to this role, Katherine served as a Program Coordinator at Big Green and was a member of Chicago Grows Food. Katherine also worked as a Ceramics Instructor at Northwestern University, an EcoExplorations Instructor at Openlands, and an Urban Farm Educator at Friends of Zenger Farm. Katherine has experience in plant and chicken sales, undergraduate student researcher, and volunteering for healthy eating workshops. Katherine is currently pursuing a dual degree in MBA and Masters of Sustainable Food Systems at Prescott College.
