Marius Powell

Marius Powell is an experienced case manager and program facilitator with a robust background in social work and youth advocacy. Currently serving as Case Manager II at Mercy Housing since January 2024, Marius previously held the position of Youth Advocacy Coordinator at YWCA Evanston/North Shore from February 2022 to August 2023. Prior experience includes supervising BSW interns at Northeastern Illinois University and providing intensive youth services and gang intervention as a New Era Project Program Specialist at Howard Area Community Center. Marius also facilitated after school programs for at-risk youth and began a career in program facilitation and sales/marketing at PEI. Marius holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University and an Associate of Arts from City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College.
