Elissa Cannon

Elissa Cannon has over 18 years of experience in healthcare technology, currently serving as Application Developer III for Epic ClinDoc and Clinical Analyst for EPIC Inpatient Documentation at Mercy Medical Center since October 2009. Elissa designed and implemented clinical documentation for 15 departments and managed the EPIC Decision Support implementation involving a team of 35 members. Prior to Mercy Medical Center, Elissa worked at Cerner Corporation from August 2005 to October 2009 as a Solution Architect, where implementations of FirstNet across 20 hospitals were conducted, along with managing simultaneous client implementations. Elissa's earlier role as an Analyst/Senior Analyst focused on transitioning clients from paper documentation to paperless systems. Elissa holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians and Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from Purdue University, attained between 2000 and 2005.
