Joanna Haskell

Lead Ultrasound Medical Sonographer at Mercy Medical Center

Joanna Haskell has a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography. Joanna started their career at Island wide Medical Imaging in 2009 as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, where they performed a variety of scans and prepared patients for exams. Joanna then moved on to Doshi Diagnostic in 2009 and continued their role as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, performing scans and preparing exam reports for review by a radiologist. In 2010, Joanna joined Mercy Medical Center as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, where they performed level II OB diagnostic scans and trained and supervised a team of sonographers. Joanna also prepared schedules and ensured staff compliance with protocols. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Ultrasound Medical Sonographer at Mercy Medical Center.

Joanna Haskell completed their education in two different institutions. From 1989 to 1992, they attended Yeshiva University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communications/Advertising. Later, from 2007 to 2008, they attended Sanford-Brown Institute-New York, where they completed the Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program.

Joanna also pursued additional certifications. In April 2009, they obtained certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynecology (RDMS) from ARDMS. In March 2010, they obtained another certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Breast (RDMS) from the same institution.
