Leanna Chapman, MBA, LSSGB, is a seasoned professional in business optimization and continuous improvement with extensive experience at Mercy Ships since April 2021, currently serving as the Business Optimization Senior Manager. In this role, Leanna leads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drives sustainable growth through data-driven solutions and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile. Prior to this, Leanna held various positions including Continuous Improvement Manager and Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist, contributing significantly to process optimization and strategic goal alignment. Leanna also has a rich background in humanitarian travel, having served as the Director of Customer Solutions at Raptim Humanitarian Travel, where strategic planning for customer experience and operational effectiveness were paramount. Leanna holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a degree in Tourism Marketing from Niagara University, and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
