Christopher Cox

Christopher Cox has extensive experience in healthcare education and onboarding, currently serving as the Director of the Onboarding Center of Expertise at Mercy since October 2006. In this role, Christopher leads a team that coordinates new hire onboarding processes, emphasizing automation and system-wide implementation of role-based access control. Previously, as the Clinical Education Manager for the Central Region, responsibilities included developing training curricula and overseeing orientation for approximately 46,000 coworkers. Christopher also held the position of Senior Specialist in Clinical Education, acting as the American Heart Association Training Center Coordinator. Prior experience includes working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at St. John's Regional Medical Center, where Christopher responded to critical care situations. Academic credentials include an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care Therapy and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Services from Missouri Southern State University, along with education from Ozark Christian College.
