Randy Rinke, Assistant Professor of Business, and Associate Dean of the Walker School of Business. Randy has his undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from Mercyhurst University and his MBA from Gannon University. He has also completed the Leadership Erie and Leadership Erie Continuing Education training programs. Randy worked for five years at General Electric in the finance department as an Accounting Services Specialist, Customer Billing Specialist and Customer Account Specialist.
Randy joined Mercyhurst in January of 1993 as a Staff Accountant. He served as the Manager of Student Accounts from 1997 until August of 2000 when he began teaching full-time at the North East campus. He has taught classes at North East, Erie and the Adult College. In addition to teaching, Randy has done contract work for the Municipal Police Training Academy and Constable Training program, he was the treasurer for a local political campaign as well as a congressional race, served as the North East Faculty Senate President and Program Director for the North East business department and has served on numerous North East and University wide committees. In 2017, Randy received the Teaching Excellence Award.
