Jane Barker

Jane Barker is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Human Resources Consultant at Africa Oil Corp. since July 2023, Jane previously held similar consulting roles at Valeura Energy Inc. and Gulf Keystone Petroleum, where Jane acted as Human Resources Director from March 2016 to September 2021. Jane's career includes significant positions at Afren Plc as HR Director and as Consultant Head of Human Resources at both Coastal Energy and African Arabian Petroleum. Notably, Jane held the role of Head of Human Resources at esure and LASMO for an extensive period. Jane's educational background includes a degree from the University of Otago.
