Glen Stancil has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Glen is currently the CEO of Merge Electric Fleet Solutions, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, Glen was the President of eMotive Solutions starting from April 2017.
Before joining eMotive Solutions, Glen worked at EVgo, where they held multiple positions. Glen served as the Chief Operating Officer from June 2016 to March 2017, leading a 40-person service-delivery team for the nation's largest public DC fast charge network. Glen was also the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Co-Founder at EVgo from July 2010 to June 2016, spearheading partnerships with real estate and automotive companies to install over 500 DC fast charging stations across the US.
From May 2009 to June 2010, Glen worked at NRG Energy as a Vice President. Glen played a crucial role in exploring new lines of green business and helped design and launch NRG EV Services as an internal startup.
Before their time at NRG Energy, Glen worked at Reliant Energy, where they held various roles. Glen was a Vice President from July 2004 to April 2009, responsible for strategic planning and customer research in the smart energy sector. Glen also served as the Director of Retail Chief of Staff from February 2003 to June 2004, overseeing marketing activities for residential customers.
Glen's career began at BlueKite, where they co-founded the company and served as the VP of Product Strategy. Glen played a crucial role in growing the company to become a market leader in wireless web optimization.
Prior to BlueKite, Glen worked at Seagull Technology as the Director of Business Development, at Lam Research as a Product Manager (Summer Intern), and at McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst and Energy Practice Analyst.
Glen's career started at Andersen Consulting as a Staff Consultant, where they worked on open systems technology transition strategy and revenue accounting systems.
Glen Stancil obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 1986 to 1991. Following this, Glen pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Stanford University from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, Glen obtained an Instrument-Rated Private Pilot certification from the FAA in August 1991.
