Hormazd Charna

Hormazd Charna has over 16 years of work experience. Hormazd is currently the Founder of MergerDomo and North India Representative for the World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce, both since 2019. From 2011 to 2019, they were Associate VP Corporate Finance - Large Corporates at TATA CAPITAL. From 2009 to 2011, they were Associate Vice President, Debt Syndication at Money Matters Financial Services, where they executed syndication mandates in real estate and infrastructure. From 2008 to 2009, they were Senior Manager, Business Banking Financial Advisory at Yes Bank Limited, working on various PE assignments with corporate banking clients. From 2006 to 2008, they were Senior Associate, Corporate Advisory Group at Kotak Mahindra Bank, advising clients on restructuring/recapitalization. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Consultant, Financial Advisory Services at Deloitte.

Hormazd Charna completed their MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School - Gurgaon in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a B.COM (H) in Commerce from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College between 1997 and 2000. In 1996, they attended Air Force Bal Bharti School. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Mergers & Acquisitions from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2016, 3TP General Management Program from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2013, Advanced Corporate Finance from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2012, Advanced Computing from Ibm Global Service India Private Limited in 2001, and Advance Diploma in Spanish from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan-Delhi Kendra in 1999.
