Dave Snyder is an accomplished music director and educator with extensive experience in various theatrical and educational settings. Currently serving as the Director of Music Ministry at Mother of Divine Providence Parish since May 2024, Dave has also held the position of Director/Music Director at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy since September 2014, where responsibilities include directing musical productions such as "Twelfth Night" and several well-known musical titles. Additional roles include Lead Piano and Voice Teacher at Meridee Winters School of Music, Upper School Theatre Music Director at Friends' Central School, and Music Director for multiple productions at Wolf Performing Arts Center and The Candlelight Theatre. Dave holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from Syracuse University.

The Meridee Winters School of Music specializes in in-home music lessons that go a step beyond. The school teaches private music lessons to hundreds on Main Line students, teaching them to compose, create, build higher level thinking skills AND learn an instrument in a fun and unique way. Founded in 1990 by a former schoolteacher, the Meridee Winters School of Music is dedicated to educational excellence. Our playful, talented teachers are highly trained and teach piano, guitar, voice or violin, and the school hosts four amazing shows per year. Our students have plenty of opportunities to show off what they’ve learned. Meridee also designs and releases her own music books, games and teaching material.
