Meridell Achievement Center is a residential treatment facility located in Liberty Hill, Texas, providing specialized care for children and adolescents since 1961. Having served youth with a wide-range of behavioral and emotional difficulties for over 60 years in the greater Austin area, we offer gender affirming traditional behavioral and neurobehavioral programs for youths aged 11 to 17.

In 1961, Liberty Hill was a rural community on the outskirts of Austin. Today, highways make Liberty Hill a northwest suburb of Austin with an easy commute to the city center and international airport.

The Mental Health and Therapy Team at Meridell Achievement Center provides comprehensive care and therapeutic support to children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional difficulties. This multidisciplinary team, comprised of mental health specialists, psychiatric nurses, recreational therapists, program therapists, and licensed clinical social workers, collaborates to create individualized treatment plans. Their goal is to foster emotional well-being, teach coping strategies, and promote lasting behavior change through evidence-based therapeutic interventions and compassionate care.
