Andrew Shiaka

Andrew Shiaka is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Director at Meridiam since June 2022. Prior to this role, Shiaka was involved in business development at Azura Power from June 2021 to June 2022 and served as Vice President in the Project Finance team at Barclays Africa Group Limited from November 2014 to June 2021, where the focus was on advising and financing power and infrastructure projects across Africa. Shiaka's earlier career included positions as an Associate and Financial Analyst at Fieldstone Private Capital Group, an international investment banking boutique specializing in the power and infrastructure sector, and as a Financial Analyst at UTHO Capital. Shiaka holds a BCom (Hons) in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand, obtained in 2008.
