Jackie Knabel has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being as the SR VP of Human Resources at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. Jackie was responsible for overseeing a staff of 11 and managing recruiting, training & development, staff relations, payroll, credentialing, and compliance for 525 employees. Jackie also served on the executive committee and chaired the Corporate Compliance Committee.

In addition, Jackie provided HR leadership to another community mental health agency as the Director of Human Resources for The Centers in Ocala, FL.

Jackie has also been involved in professional organizations, serving as the Chapter President for NCF SHRM and as a Workforce Readiness Advocate.

Prior to their roles in the mental health industry, Jackie owned a human resources consulting business and a home-based jewelry business specializing in handmade glass beads and bead making supplies.

Jackie also has experience as a Senior Executive Recruiter at ACS and as an Employment Manager at ClientLogic.

Jackie Knabel, MHRM, SPHR began their educational journey at Denbigh High School from 1969 to 1973, where they obtained their HS Diploma with a focus on College Prep. Jackie then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from 1973 to 1977 at Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business. Building upon their foundation in psychology, they furthered their education by attending the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM) degree specializing in Human Resources. These various educational experiences have equipped Jackie Knabel with a well-rounded understanding of psychology and human resources, contributing to their professional expertise as an MHRM and SPHR.
