Julie Smith

Julie Smith is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President, Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer at Meridian Bioscience Inc. since January 2004, Julie has held various roles including Vice President of Finance and Sr. Finance Director for Global Diagnostics & Shared Services, with notable contributions to the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley and the formation of a global internal audit function. Prior to this, Julie was the Controller for the Amateur Trapshooting Association from 2000 to 2004, overseeing all financial activities of the organization. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Audit Manager at PwC from 1991 to 1999. Julie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Dayton.
