Liju Mathew

Liju Mathew, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist in Protein Sciences at Meridian Bioscience Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Liju Mathew was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Georgia from August 2022 to September 2023 and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences from June 2017 to July 2022, where the working thesis focused on "Anaerobic Heme Degradation: Elucidating the Mechanism of ChuW." Liju Mathew also contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center from May 2016 to May 2017 and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia from May 2015 to May 2016. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology earned at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2022 and a Bachelor's degree in the same field completed in 2017.
