Vice President Marketing at Meridian Credit Union

Susan LeBlanc has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Susan began their career as an Account Manager at Gilmore Global Logistics Service, where they managed the largest client account with a focus on process design. Susan then worked as a Media Production Coordinator at Pinpoint Selling before transitioning to the role of Marketing & Product Training Specialist at Mentor Engineering. In this role, Susan produced promotional materials and facilitated training programs for in-vehicle hardware and software products.

Following their time at Mentor Engineering, Susan joined SAIT as a Global Marketing Analyst. Susan developed marketing strategies that increased diploma program enrollments and successfully filled at-risk education programs. Susan also worked on strategic marketing plans to position the school as a leader in academic excellence.

Susan then moved on to CoolIT Systems Inc. as the Global Marketing and Communications Manager. Susan created global strategies for new product launches, managed crisis communications, and repositioned the company among PC gaming enthusiasts.

After CoolIT Systems, Susan joined the Heart and Stroke Foundation as a Digital Marketing Manager and later became a Senior Manager of Digital Fundraising. In these roles, they managed budgets, campaigns, and advised community fundraising teams on digital tactics.

Most recently, Susan has been working at Scene+, where they held various roles including Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, and Executive Director of Marketing Communications. Susan played a key role in the expansion of the Scene+ brand into new rewards programs and managed teams to drive growth, revenue, and brand strategy.

In the future, Susan will be joining Meridian Credit Union as the Vice President of Marketing.

Susan LeBlanc holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology from York University, which they obtained in 2009. Susan also has a Diploma in Business Marketing from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, which they earned between 2001 and 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Susan has a Google Analytics Certification in Digital Marketing Analytics from Click Insights in 2016, a Direct Marketing Certificate from the Direct Marketing Association in 2015, and a Digital Marketing II Certificate from the Canadian Marketing Association in 2012. Susan also obtained a Certificate in Leadership from the University of Calgary in 2011. Susan has additional certifications in Canadian Loyalty Marketing Professional from The Loyalty Academy in 2019 and Direct Marketing Certification from Advanced Digital Marketing Certification (CMA).
