Clint Betteridge

Clint Betteridge is an experienced professional in renewable energy and project development, currently serving as the Renewable Project Development Manager at Meridian Energy since October 2023. Prior to this role, Clint held the position of Senior Policy Analyst at the Ministry for the Environment from March 2021 to October 2023, and worked as a Senior Consent Planner and Consent Planner at Wellington City Council from March 2017 to March 2021. Clint's career also includes significant project management experience at Endurance Wind Power Inc, where responsibilities included planning advice for wind energy project development, and at Realise Renewables, overseeing community and private developer renewable energy projects. Earlier experience includes project planning for FX Networks, which involved the development of extensive fibre optic cable infrastructure, and service as a Reserve Soldier with the NZ Army. Academic qualifications include a Master of Resource and Environmental Planning from Massey University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
