Danny Wilson

Danny Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Danny began their career at Air New Zealand in 1995 as a Sales Consultant and worked there until 2001. Following this, they joined Audit New Zealand as an Auditor from 2001 to 2002. Danny then moved on to New Zealand Post where they worked as an Accountant from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, Danny joined Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd, where they held the positions of Financial Accountant and later Domestic Market Manager until 2007. Danny then transitioned to Goodman Fielder as a Finance Manager from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2012, Danny served as the Chief Financial Officer at Arc Innovations. Currently, they are working at Meridian Energy, where they started as a Commercial Manager - Retail in 2012 and now holds the position of Head of Operations & Commercial - Retail.

Danny Wilson has a well-rounded education history. In 1998, they enrolled at the University of Canterbury and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Accounting. Danny successfully completed their studies in 2000. Following this, in 2010, Danny attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for an Executive Program in Corporate Strategy, but did not receive a specific degree. Most recently, in 2018, they enrolled in Columbia Business School for an Executive Education program specializing in Leading Strategic Growth and Organizational Change, where they are currently still enrolled.
