Iain Blanshard

Iain Blanshard has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Iain started their career as an Architectural Draghtsman at Mac & Co in 1992 and stayed there until 1996. Iain then worked as a Project Architect at Architectus Auckland from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, they became the Manager at Gwynant Ltd until 2008. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Design Tutor at Unitec. In 2009, Iain founded The Office of Minor Details, where they served as the Founder. In 2018, they founded and directed Zeebo® Adapta-Shade System™. In 2020, they joined Premium Solar & Electrical as a Senior Renewable Energy Consultant, where they specialized in the design and installation of Solar PV systems. Currently, Iain is working as a Renewable Project Development Manager at Meridian Energy, a role they started in 2023.

Iain Blanshard pursued their Bachelor of Architecture degree from 1998 to 2001 at the Auckland School of Architecture. Their field of study focused on architecture during this time.
