Mike Roan

Mike Roan has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Mike began their career at Exelon in 2002, where they worked as a Mid Marketer for four years. In 2008, they joined Meridian Energy as a Portfolio & Market Development Manager and later served as GM, Markets & Production (Acting). Mike has also held positions as Wholesale Markets Manager and GM Wholesale at Meridian Energy. Since April 2019, Mike has been working as the Chief Financial Officer at Meridian Energy.

Mike Roan began their education at The University of Auckland in 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Heavy Power Systems. Mike completed their studies in 1991. After a few years, Mike returned to school and enrolled in the Securities Institute of Australia in 2002. Mike pursued a Master's degree in Applied Finance & Investment, which they completed in 2005. Mike's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Applied Finance & Investment, with specializations in Heavy Power Systems and Finance & Investment, respectively.
