Natalie Tua

Natalie Tua has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of human resources and organizational development. Natalie currently holds the position of Strategic People Partner at Meridian Energy, where they started in November 2021. Prior to this role, Natalie served as a Business Partner Lead, OD Specialist, and Facilitator at the same company from July 2019 to October 2021.

From July 2015 to July 2019, Natalie worked as a Senior HR Business Partner, OD Specialist, and Facilitator at Meridian Energy. Before that, they were employed as an HR & OD Consultant from November 2014 to July 2015, and as an HR Consultant from July 2013 to November 2014, also at Meridian Energy.

In addition to their work at Meridian Energy, Natalie has had experience in other organizations. Natalie has worked as a Facilitator and Coach at The Strengths Shed since November 2021. Prior to this, they were an HR Consultant at New Zealand Post Group from May 2011 to July 2013, and an HR Advisor from January 2008 to May 2011, also at New Zealand Post Group.

Natalie's earlier work experience includes a role as an HR Advisor at Connell Wagner Engineering Ltd from July 2007 to January 2008. Natalie has also worked in the Parliamentary Service, where they served as an Advisor, Member and Staff Services from January 2006 to July 2007, and as a Branch Co-ordinator, HR Advisory Services from January 2005 to January 2006.

Natalie began their career as a Sales Assistant at Briscoe Group, working part-time at Rebel Sport and Briscoes from November 2001 to December 2004 while studying.

Natalie Tua's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at Massey University. Natalie pursued a Bachelor of Business Studies with a focus on Sports Business Management and completed their degree in 2003. In 2004, they returned to Massey University to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration, specializing in Human Resources Management. The following year, in 2005, they attained a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies with a field of study in Tourism and Travel Services Management, also from Massey University. Finally, in 2018, Natalie attended Langley Group Institute in Australia and received a Diploma of Positive Psychology & Wellbeing.
