Ross Berry

Ross Berry has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Ross is currently working as the Site Owner for Meridian Energy at the Harapaki Wind Farm. In this role, they oversee the operations of the wind farm and works with the maintenance team.

Prior to their current position, Ross worked as a Project Manager at Unison Contracting Services Ltd, where they were responsible for substation construction and electrical works for the Harapaki Wind Farm.

Ross also served as a Technical Services Manager at Unison Networks Ltd for nine years, from 2012 to 2021. In this role, they managed technical services for the company.

Before joining Unison Networks, Ross worked as an Energy Solutions Manager at Contact Energy Ltd from 2007 to 2012.

Ross has also worked as a Technician at Unison Networks Ltd in 2006, and as an Energy Management Contractor at Demand Response from 2003 to 2005.

Their career in the energy sector started at Contact Energy Ltd, where they worked as an Industrial Billing Manager and Contractor from 1999 to 2002.

Ross Berry attended CIT - Heretaunga in 1996, where they obtained a NZCE degree in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they also completed a NZ Dip Energy Management program at CIT - Heretaunga. Ross went on to achieve NZ Registered Electrician status. Ross further earned certifications, including Level 1 Certified Thermographer from the Infrared Training Centre and NZ Electrical Registration as an Electrician from EWRB in 2005 and 1982, respectively.
