Project Finance Specialist at Meridian Institute

Johannah Richards is Meridian’s Project Finance Specialist, based in the Dillon, CO office. In this role, she provides project administration and finance support focusing on project accounting, fiscal sponsorships, and regranting. She works across Meridian’s projects, including The Global Alliance for the Future of Food and Lacuna Fund, and enjoys supporting the financial management and administration of complex and impactful initiatives.

Before joining Meridian, Johannah was the Director of Migrations and Program Management for Host Compliance. In this role, she oversaw the organization’s high-profile, multifaceted, and controversial project implementations and managed its migrations team. Other career highlights include serving as the Tax and Licensing Administrator for the Town of Vail, where she was responsible for the regulation and collection of $24 million in yearly sales tax revenue, and as the Operations Manager for the City of Aspen’s Community Development Department.

An avid outdoorswoman, Johannah lives outside of Breckenridge, Colorado and spends her free time rafting and fly fishing the rivers of Colorado and Montana. She also believes strongly in giving back to her community and volunteers her time for numerous local organizations.
