Kevin Cavanaugh

Kevin Cavanaugh leads the finance and administration team and is responsible for finance, accounting, IT, human resources, office administration, facilities, and the conference center at the Science History Institute. The Science History Institute is a multifaceted nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve and celebrate the scientific and technological culture and to make it accessible for investigation and knowledge creation. Kevin has over 25 years of finance, accounting, and management experience in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining the Science History Institute, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Vanguard Charitable. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Clean Energy Group and the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at the Reinvestment Fund. He has also held leadership positions in the private sector including DuPont and Cephalon.
