Lily Weissgold

Lily Weissgold is an experienced professional with a background in environmental policy, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as an Affiliate at Meridian Institute since June 2020, Lily contributes to digital sequence information negotiations at the Convention on Biological Diversity, where responsibilities include stakeholder management and policy drafting. As an Independent Contractor, Lily facilitated UN-negotiator meetings on Digital Sequence Information and authored a three-year work plan. Previous roles include Project Associate II at a conflict resolution consultancy, during which Lily managed a substantial project budget and coordinated numerous subcontractors, as well as research-focused positions with the State of the Rockies Project and Colorado College. Academically, Lily holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Environmental Policy from Colorado College and is pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) at Freie Universität Berlin.
