M. Ann Tutwiler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agricultural policy, food security, and development. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at Meridian Institute, Tutwiler provides expertise in addressing complex agricultural issues. As an Advisor at ClimateAI, Tutwiler contributes to enhancing farming profitability and resilience in food systems through climate forecasting and machine learning. Additionally, Tutwiler chairs the Expert Review Committee for the World Benchmarking Alliance’s Access to Seeds Index, evaluating seed companies' efforts to support smallholder farmers. Previous roles include Director General at Bioversity International, Deputy Director General for Knowledge at the FAO, and Coordinator for Global Food Security at USDA, among others. Tutwiler holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and has participated in executive education at INSEAD and Purdue University.
